Excellent craftsmanship, great sound, and perfectly in tune! Feels solid/weighty in a good way due to thick PVC and the brass fitting. Sure, it’s a PVC flute, but if you’re in a dimly lit pub, you’ll probably fool a few people into thinking you’ve got a nice solid wood one thanks to the gorgeous finish. :) Low maintenance, great for travel. The only minor warning I have is that it takes a few weeks for the smell of the stain to wear off if you’re ordering from a freshly made batch. It’s not overpowering, but definitely a little surprising if you’re not expecting it at first. But it will wear off!

I bought one of these flutes a couple years ago and honestly am still not very good at playing, but it was so cool to be able to get one to start learning on at an affordable price point. The sound and quality is good for the price!

Beautiful sound and very satisfying to play. Great color that people consistently mistake for real wood. Very durable product, and withstands drops well. This flute got me into playing the flute and I’ve been more than satisfied jamming with others and bringing it around

The bear flute is the first flute I have bought that really gave me a chance to learn how to play properly. It’s a rugged design and looks great

I got these 3 flutes already(first generation and 2nd generation). All flutes are good volume, easy to play,steady sounds. I am using for the gig , shows and sessions. I really enjoy playing this flute. Customer service is outstanding. 100% satisfied and highly recommend to anyone. Beginner to pro.

I got one of these flutes a while back and I could never make it sound nice. I have heard someone else at a session who had a bear flute and they made it sing better that I could ever play any flute I’ve tried. So the flute is great, I just can’t play it! It was still worth the try because the prices are very appealing.
